The last 2 years have been difficult for everyone. Fortunately, we have been able to continue working, designing new gardens both large and small and bringing joy at a time when we all need something good to look forward to. Residential gardens play a big part in our practice and we love the varied spaces, our clients, the challenges and results. This is truly a team effort . To receive this award from the Home & Garden Awards is truly wonderful.
We have been going for more than 20 years, working collaboratively with architects, designers, artists, sculptors and craftsmen and women on a wide range of projects both across the UK and overseas. We provide an individual, friendly and professional service, from our Kent landscape design practice, offering high-quality, bespoke design. Our landscape design practice works predominantly on large gardens and estates, to large-scale public projects or a landmark outdoor facility. We also undertake smaller projects, urban gardens and more. Through a blend of creativity, planning and attention to detail our garden design practice takes care of your plans and aspirations.
Mark Lane Designs Ltd works closely with you at every stage from initial consultation and planning through to the final construction.
We create a garden or landscape that is a direct response to the architecture, topography and character of the landscape – a sense of place and space.
Everything we do begins with you and your needs. From the initial consultation to completion our practice is proud of the professional and meticulous attention given to each and every one of our clients’ needs.
Our urban garden design projects vary in style from ‘a chic modern boutique hotel feel’ to ‘traditional cottage gardens with beautifully crafted materials and entertaining spaces’. Our luxury, bespoke countryside and estate projects tend to start from half an acre. We also have experience of designing and working on detailed projects in excess of 10 acres across the UK.
With a background in fine art, architecture and the built environment we create spaces in a 3-dimensional way with excellent visualisation skills that are tailor-made for your garden.
